So you booked your wedding venue, congrats! This is a big milestone in your wedding planning journey, although it usually leads to another question: where will you and your wedding party get ready beforehand? Most venues don’t include overnight accommodations. Even fewer have the space or time built in for a full wedding party to get ready together. This guide covers two options that solve for both. They offer overnight space for a medium-sized wedding party or family, plus the ease of waking up together instead of coordinating multiple locations. Both also host smaller, more intimate weddings on their own grounds, if that’s what you’re after.

The Cromwell Manor Inn and Peach Grove House both sit on the west side of the Hudson River. They’re rustic, comfortable, and close to venues across the region, including Brotherhood Winery, Mountainville Manor, The Barn at Villa Venezia, and Drowned Lands Brewery. If you’re staying at Cromwell Manor Inn, Storm King Art Center is just around the corner and worth a visit if you have extra time.

Scenic inn with space for your family and wedding party

The Cromwell Manor Inn works well for a larger group. It is historic and charming, with its own breakfast room and patio for a meal before or after your wedding celebrations. The colonial style of the Inn has been tastefully and comfortably renovated. It’s recently under new leadership, with a resident golden retriever who greets guests as they arrive. If you’re looking for separate wedding party locations, rent out the 1764 house for one group and the main Inn for the larger group.

It’s also a wedding venue, so the staff are experienced and aware of specific wedding-day concerns. If you haven’t settled on a venue yet, it’s worth a look. It’s quaint, historic, and full of colonial character. Peach Grove House in Warwick

An intimate, historic farmhouse bed and breakfast built for getting ready

Peach Grove House is an 1800s bed and breakfast in Warwick. It was built as a gift for the son of the family who ran one of the town’s original large farms. The house still carries that history. Petrified oak runs through its structure, and a hand painted mural in the foyer is designed to look like marble. Owners Lorena and Keith live on site. They put a lot of intention and care into every detail, from fresh flowers cut every Thursday to rooms named after the family’s original owners.

Roughly a dozen guests can stay overnight, a good fit for an intimate wedding party or family group. Several downstairs rooms work well for getting ready, including a sunroom with soft light in both the morning and afternoon. The northwest-facing windows keep the sun from hitting directly at either time. Peach Grove House is also a wedding venue, with a shaded ceremony lawn just past a terraced garden.
